History

Cantine Garrone dates to 1921, when Luigi Garrone set up in Domodossola, and it has long been the reference of Alpine Val d'Ossola viticulture, the first to invest in recovering the area's vines.

Now run by Marco and Matteo Garrone, it works about 14 hectares for roughly 50,000 bottles, above all the native Prunent, a mountain Nebbiolo cited since the 14th century, for the Valli Ossolane DOC.
