History
Established in October 1955 as a cantina sociale, the cooperative was born out of the traditional 1950s wave of Piedmontese growers' aggregations, pooling grapes from smallholders around Nizza Monferrato.
Barbera remains the undisputed core of production, with seven different bottlings including three Nizza DOCG crus; the winery also works with Moscato d'Asti and Dolcetto, and its board has been active in the recent creation of the standalone Nizza DOCG consortium.
