History
Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo is the reference estate of Ghemme, the Alto Piemonte Nebbiolo DOCG. The Arlunno family, on this land since the 1400s, founded the winery in 1969 when Ghemme became a DOC and replanted its old vineyards. From 1981 Alberto Arlunno bottled the first estate Ghemme and the single-vineyard crus Collis Breclemae and Collis Carellae, showing the elegance and longevity of Spanna grown on Alto Piemonte's acidic glacial soils.
