In 1868 the knight Vincenzo Comi acquired the Villa di Travaglino, whose nephew turned it into a wine cellar.

The estate itself goes back to the 12th century, its name linked to a witness of a 1111 deed.

Cristina and Alessandro Comi, the fifth generation, run it today; Travaglino is the oldest sparkling producer of the Oltrepò.
