History

The Mazzolino estate near Corvino San Quirico was revived in the late 1970s by the banker Enrico Braggiotti, who, advised by Luigi Veronelli and Giacomo Bologna, imported Burgundy Pinot Nero and Chardonnay. First bottled in 1982 (first official vintage 1985), it became known as a 'little Burgundy' of the Oltrepò for its Pinot Nero Noir; his granddaughter Francesca Seralvo leads it today.
