History
Vittorio Moretti, an Erbusco entrepreneur whose family the records place in Franciacorta as early as the 15th century, founded Bellavista in 1977, convinced the region's future lay in Metodo Classico. After a first year of still wines, sparkling production began in earnest by the third year, and Bellavista grew into one of Franciacorta's most prestigious houses, producing well over a million bottles a year, all by the traditional method. Its prestige cuvées include the Vittorio Moretti Riserva and the Franciacorta Teatro alla Scala.
