History

Casa Lupi is the reference name for Ormeasco, the mountain red of western Liguria. Brothers Tommaso and Angelo Lupi founded the estate in 1960 at Pieve di Teco, first as merchants and then as growers, and helped define modern Ligurian wine. Their Ormeasco di Pornassio, including the single-vineyard Sciac-trà 'Braje' rosé, is regarded as among the finest expressions of the grape.
