History
Giuseppe Ceschin bought land in the Colli Orientali at Prepotto in 1973 and named it La Viarte, Friulian for the spring; the first wine came out in 1984.
After fifty years the Polegato family, founders of Astoria, took it on in 2023, with Riccardo Polegato at the helm; from about twenty-two hectares they make the native whites and reds and the Liende selection.
