History

Emilio Bulfon came to Valeriano di Pinzano in 1964 and found forgotten native vines in the abandoned fields; from the 1970s he made it his life's work to save the ancient grapes of western Friuli.

From about eighteen hectares he makes wines from the rare Sciaglin, Ucelut and Piculit neri, names found almost nowhere else.
