History

Tenuta Pernice was started in 1988 by Maria Poggi Azzali, who turned a personal passion into a working estate in the Val Tidone.

Known locally as a women-run winery, it is today managed by Chiara and Maria Poggi Azzali, producing Gutturnio, Ortrugo and Malvasia in both still and frizzante styles.
