History

Orsi - Vigneto San Vito is the reference name for serious Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto. Federico Orsi bought the family-worked San Vito estate in the Bologna hills in 2005 and turned it biodynamic, championing the local Pignoletto grape through low-intervention, native-yeast winemaking with minimal sulphur. His frizzante 'sui lieviti' and the single-vineyard Vigna del Grotto are benchmarks for the appellation.
