History

Marisa Cuomo makes some of Italy's most dramatic 'heroic' wines, on terraces pinned to the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast at Furore. Founded in 1980 by Andrea Ferraioli and his wife Marisa Cuomo, the estate is famous for Fiorduva, a barrel-fermented white from the near-extinct local grapes Fenile, Ginestra and Ripoli that won Italy's top sommelier award in 2006 and made Costa d'Amalfi a serious appellation.
