History

Ceratti is the historic name behind Greco di Bianco, one of Italy's oldest and rarest sweet wines, a Greco Bianco passito made only around Bianco and Casignana on the Ionian coast of Calabria and tied by legend to the ancient Greeks. From a tiny estate whose grounds hold the Roman Villa di Casignana, the Ceratti family, above all Umberto Ceratti, kept this amber, aromatic dessert wine alive as the reference bottling of the appellation.
