Cantine Strapellum, founded in 1997 and named for the ancient city of Rapolla, works about 43 hectares across the Vulture from Contrada Scavone at Rionero.
It makes the Aglianico del Vulture, a Superiore from the 2013 harvest, and a range of sparkling wines.
