History
The Santoleri family have held their estate at Guardiagrele since the end of the 1600s; Giovanni first bottled the wine in the early 1960s, and Nicola with his siblings Ena and Giacomo carry it on, aging in a cellar of 1700 in the medieval town.
From about twenty-eight hectares at Crognaleto they make the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and the Trebbiano.
