History
Cantine Bove, at Avezzano in the Marsica of inland Abruzzo, is one of the region's oldest wineries, founded in 1930 by the Bove family.
Steadily modernised since 1960 and now equipped with a high-tech bottling line, the estate farms around thirty hectares and makes some hundred and twenty thousand bottles a year, led by its Montepulciano d'Abruzzo — the 'Poggio d'Albe' and 'Indio'.
